The Hospitality Business is an exciting, rewarding and fast paced industry. Every day is different, presents new challenges and new opportunities for growth, both personally and professionally. As a recruiter my job is to orchestrate the perfect marriage between our client companies and our jobseekers. The client companies need my help in finding excellent managers to take care of their operations as if it were their own, creating financial success and above all the ultimate in guest satisfaction. At the same time, I talk to job candidates in depth to determine where they want to go and grow in their careers-what excites and motivates them. Both clients and candidates receive my best efforts in return for the trust they place in me to fulfill their needs. This, in short is my mission!
About Cathy
I have spent a great deal of my own career in the hospitality industry as Manager, a chef/owner and even an Innkeeper. I have been both Employer and Employee so I understand the business from both sides. The pace, the challenge of thinking on my feet, the rewards of making guests happy has always been energizing for me. After selling my business several years ago I was having trouble finding “a home” and realized that I was actually better off being my own boss. As luck would have it, I found Patrice & Associates and decided that Hospitality Recruiting would be an interesting fit. I guess you could say that I vicariously get myself a great job everyday by finding them for my candidates!
I am a native of Rhode Island but I have also spent four years living in Milan, Italy. I can be a terrible food snob, but at the same time I will pay almost anything for an order of super-fantastic French fries.
I have been married for 27 years to my husband ,Bob and have a 24 year old daughter , Vanessa and a 21 years old son Jesse (who is currently getting his private pilot’s license, much to my dismay). Food is ever my passion and I love good jazz, blues and R & B, especially in a small club setting.
